The city has an area of 3793.55 sqr km with a total green space of 50% and a tree coverage of 37%. The city lies in the North Temperate Zone of the world. The city has improved it's Percentage of urban area covered by trees when compared to Global Average and also improved it's Urban green space per capita when compared to previous year.Kudos to Beijing for being the top ranker within Central East Asia.
